What is Gujarat Electrical Contractor License Registration?
Under Section 53 of the Electricity Act, 2003 read with Central Electricity Authority (CEA) Regulations 2010 and Gujarat Electricity Board rules, no individual, firm, or company can undertake electrical installation, testing, commissioning, or maintenance work in Gujarat without holding a valid Electrical Contractor License issued by the Secretary, Licensing Board, CEICED, Gandhinagar. 4. Bank Solvency Certificate: A compulsory, recent bank solvency certificate of ₹10,000 or above explicitly naming the firm and stating it is for an electrical contractor license.
5. Testing Instruments: GST purchase invoices in the firm's name with serial numbers for Megger (500V), Earth Tester, and Digital Clamp Meter.
